Originally from California, Steve Wong spent his adolescence in Singapore before returning for college where he was introduced to InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. That’s where he fell in love with Jesus—the one who stood up for the oppressed, called him “beloved," and introduced a new world order because the King had arrived. Steve has been married to Emily June for 12 years, and they have two amazing kids who never fail to remind him that they are a gift from God. He is usually near coffee, a frisbee, a board game, a bike, or some combination of these things. He is honored and excited to be at CHIC 2018, to see God equip and mobilize thousands of students and youth workers to bring his good news to their communities.
